After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion Design in 2010 Clara Traynor set up her own fashion label ‘Clara-Bella’ which debuted at ‘Showcase’, Irelands largest craft, gift and fashion trade show.
She then moved to New York in Autumn of 2011.
There, she worked with Bijules, Andy Liftschutz, and
Logan Nietzel, with whom she worked on garments for Katy Perry, Zola Jesus and
features in ID magazine. She also worked as a neckwear designer for private
labels such as Macys, Bloomingdales and Perry Ellis.
She has exhibited in various galleries both abroad and
in Dublin incl the White Lady Gallery, The Oculus Gallery, All Out Design
Gallery and Twisted Pepper, a series of ink drawings inspired by hip hop culture.
